Lacerations
Lacerations are wounds resulting from deep cuts or tears in the skin. If the laceration is particularly large and is bleeding excessively, you should seek immediate medical help. Generally, cuts that need stitches should be addressed within the first few hours.* Lacerations to the face and scalp should be addressed as soon as possible.
