Abdominal Pain

Abdominal pain is mild to severe pain between the chest and pelvis.

What are the symptoms?

Mild cases include stomachaches and cramps, while more severe cases are caused by inflamed and/or diseased organs. The small and large intestines, the kidneys, the appendix, spleen, stomach, gallbladder, liver, and pancreas are all located in the abdomen and can be the source of this pain. Bacterial, viral, and parasitic infections can also cause significant issues in this area of the body.

What are the treatments for abdominal pain?

Medical treatment depends on the severity of the pain, as well as the patient’s health history.* Disease and other health conditions may be the cause.*

* Individual results may vary.
